Johnny Carlisle, a resident of Birmingham, Alabama, recently had his wish for a lift chair granted by our Alabama chapter. Carlisle served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He is now in hospice care and suffering from end stage cardiac disease. He was so grateful to receive his lift chair as it will improve his quality of life and give him some independence.
